3. Where to pray?
We can pray anywhere. In this section I share a few places
- Jesus prayed in a solitary place:
Mark 1:35 - 35Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
- Your room in private:
Matthew 6: 6 - 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- Your Prayer Mountain – We could find a special place away from people where we can spend time to pray, meditate and commune with God, at a quiet part of the beach? At the quiet park, at a country side.
Moses went up to the mountain to receive God’s instructions.
Exodus 19:3 - Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain and said, “This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel:
Jesus also went to the mountain to pray:
Luke 6:12 - 12One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.
Matthew 14:23 - 23After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,
- Anywhere you go: Walking along the streets, strolling in the park, trekking in the bush, walking by the beach. These are places if not too crowded, you can verbalize your pray. God will listen to you.
I am sure you can come up with many places we can spend time with God to Pray and hear God. If you send to me your list I can add to the list and expand the blessing to all readers.
PS: As you meditate, you could also pop in at the Worship Tab and have a mini- worship session.
God Bless
Ben
