Hi my name is Benjamin (most people call me Ben), a husband and father of 3 children (a pair of twin girls and a boy); I have been a Christian for more than 30 years and I am still growing in the Lord. I am not a pastor nor a lay leader nor cell leader. I am a member in our Church’s Hospital visitation and  Prayer Ministry.

I started this website on the principles laid in

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing…

and 

Philippians 4:6 -  6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

With this in mind, I sought to share verses, thoughts and prayers on helping us building an effective prayer life. I have refrained from writing too much rather I wanted to keep the focus on the Scriptures and praying and claiming the Scriptures in prayer.  

Whilst what I share is applicable to all Christians, I do initially focus my efforts on the young Christian families and help our children build a lifestyle of prayer.

Our Beliefs

 1. The Bible is God’s infallible Word for us to live by. 2 Timothy 3:16  

2. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to the Heavenly Father and eternal life. Romans 10:9-10

3. That Prayer is the key mode of communicating with God our praises, thanksgiving, concerns, requests and getting to know God closer. Philippians 4:6, Jeremiah 33:3

4. That God hears our prayers through faith. Hebrews 4:16
